A painting I did at school. :) I hope I took a good enough picture of it. It took me about a week to do. annnnd, its on a 18"x24" canvas... it drove me nuts...
Details: [link]

as you can see on the right side of the picture, is my character Spade and her Panda plushie. if anyone noticed, I've been having people draw her. -And for me, this is the first actual artwork I put her in. She's going to eventually be in my Random Death comic.

I suppose this is slightly a spoilers picture because my brother and sister are going to eventually enter a 'face' building like this.

oh, and btw, before I shoved this on the computer, some people took pictures of it with their cel phones. -so if any of you see this picture elsewhere on the internet, be sure to let me know! thanks!

Artwork and Spade is (C) to me, Caylee.
(acrylic paint)

It's like a dark anime version of Pee-Wee's Playhouse....

u-um quick question if you dont mind. do you use pencil and outline the picture to know what your drawing or just start using acrylic right away?

sorry if this question disturbs or annoyed you in any way. i just really wanted to know.

I do draw a pencil layout on my canvas first before I start painting... but it's a rough sketch and when I do start applying paint, I do not try to be careful and paint inside the lines. I've done that before and somehow canvas always showed when I did.

I loved this picture many years ago when I first discovered it, and I definitely still do.

It's held up so well; awesome work with the acrylics.
